Wow, we had amazing service from Gabriela. The drinks were so amazing, the place was full and Gabriela stayed up on everything for us. The food was the best in Phoenix! Thanks for keeping a clean and good looking restaurant. We appreciate you. We are from Colorado and will be back to enjoy drinks and food from your location.

A great place for delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine. This restaurant is located in a very ghetto area, BUT DON'T LET DAT FOOL YOU! Although their food is a bit expensive, with prices of 15 75, they have a huge menu to choose and the food is really good and incredibly fast made. When my party arrived from 6 the place was almost completely packed and yet our food was cooked and served within 15 minutes after order! The service was also great and our waitress was also very nice and attentive. All in all, I recommend this restaurant if you don't mind spending the ghetto scene and much for some great Mexican foods. Pros: Great tasting authentic Mexican cuisine Almost boiled Each speaks Spanish and English Outside the patio seat available TONS from very spicy dishes and even a ghost pepper food challenge where you can win a free t shirt if you are REALLY in spicy dishes Cons: Something expensive Spent ca. 350 for a party of 6: ghetto neighborhood with available parking behind the sketchy launderette next door you need to try to stay away from spicy foods if this really can not your thing a bit crowded/cold, but they have a lot of tables to sit both inside and outside.

One of the most authentic Mexican restaurants north of the borders. The atmosphere, the food, the crowd and the entire experience. We ordered two big red snapshots and many shrimps. All were perfectly boiled Mexican style. We're definitely coming back.

The food here was absolutely delicious

Wow! This place was amazing. What made me come here was the beautiful drinks posted on Google but what will make me come back is the food. Hands down best Mexican food I have had in the Phoenix area. Our waitress was kind and friendly. We asked her for recommendations on drinks and she said the tamarindo margarita. It was so delicious I could sit there and drink them all day. The waitress also suggested the Molcajete Caliente with the green sauce. So that's what we ordered. They brought out chips with two types of salsa. TBH it was the low light of the meal, just average. But the waitress brought us free fresh fish tostadas. The tostada shell was homemade and crisp. The fish was light and not fried. There was a great sauce and pico on top. I could of walked away happy from there. But then the Molcajete Caliente came out. Hot and sizzling with meat overflowing the stone cup. One bite and we both were in heaven. The green sauce had such deep flavor and the meat was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. It came with tortillas and a side two side plates of rice, beans, and salad. Between drinks, great service and amazing food this is a must for anyone in the area. We both stuffed ourselves to the max because we couldn't stop eating. Then we still left with TWO to go containers left of food.

The shrimp appetizer was amazing, soooo well flavored and huge, the staff gave us a free ceviche tostada, things are a little pricey but I definitely suggest it for at least the drinks and appetizers

What a feast! Holy cow! I can't believe we just did that! What an incredible dining experience. We had a feast fit for Arizona Kings. This joint is quintessential Arizona Mexico cuisine at it's purest. Nestled in backdrop of central Phoenix lies this incredible restaurant that truly deserves it's flowers. It's simply difficult to describe how incredible the drinks and food are. Marisos Playa Hermosa is a treasured gem in the heart of Phoenix. The wait staff are beautiful, fun and super fast. As you can see from the pictures, the table is stacked with mounds of ridiculous Mexican flavor and flare. This is a must for anyone who wants to add some serious inches to their waistline. Crazy good food.
