I was a long-term customer in bell road 19. ave store. I always order the baked cod and garnel plate. it is not on the menu, but it is worth definitiw to order it. I have been friends with the district manager for years and could not be happier with eating, service and professionalism in this load I love.

I didn't eat at ljs over 20 years. the aromas and tastes had pleasant memories that flooded back from my childhood. I love the teig on the fish and crispy pieces. was so happy that my meal was exactly as I remembered it was tasting. food: 5/5

I haven't had LJS in years. I was hungry, I saw, and I stopped. It was the best LJS I've ever had, and I had it when I was living in CA.I don't like that I wanted a platter meal with 2 fish and 1 chicken rather than the reverse. I think it's the #7 that has the reverse, but they wouldn't sub a chicken for a fish even though they are the same price on the Add a Piece option. I don't understand that. I ended up getting the #1 (2 fish meal). Also, they don't give enough fries. Don't be so stingy. After all, I didn't take the hushpuppies since I can't stand them. A few extra fries, which tasted so good, wouldn't been great. Sorry, can't give 5 stars.

The food was fresh and tasty, with the exception of the mac n cheese. It was NOT fresh, and looked like the horrible gloop of stuff you get at a poorly rated buffet. Definitely not creamy, like the giant photo they had of it, showed. The girl that took my order was not unfriendly, but not what I would call friendly either. Blah would be a good word. The gentleman working the drive-thru was super nice. I think he was maybe management. My biggest complaint has to be the huge increase in their prices from the last time I went. $35 for 2 fish and shrimp platters, one small soda, and a tiny piece of strawberry cheesecake? Everything is in bulk, frozen, and deep fried for goodness sakes! Pollock is not an expensive fish. And they upcharge EVERY LITTLE THING! I get inflation, but geez...a bit ridiculous of you ask me! I could have gone to a nice steakhouse for slightly more than that....But as it were, the fish was very crispy and so were the fries. The coleslaw was very good, and the hushpuppies delicious. So if you are in the mood for some good fried fish and can stomach the prices, then this is the place to go.

The young lady at the counter was just about the best with her customer service! The food was a little over cooked but the fries were perfect. A little pricey but worth it. This stand alone LJS might be one of the best still standing. The store is extremely clean, the staff is very friendly, and the food is hot and delicious. There’s a secret cult of us who still crave Long John’s. Don’t sleep on this one! Does it feel like you applied grease as lipstick, yes. Is it less healthy than McD’s, probably not.
