Home Slice Pizza

You will see why this restaurant is going a high rating easy and see for yourself. Its definitely family-friendly they gave our children to play pizza dough while we waited for food on the colors pages and Crayons. we ordered a medium custom pizza and it was perfect! You have a playground for children to play outside.

My son often travels to Austin and insisted that while we were here, we had to cut the pizza home. I think honestly, sometimes he grabs a friend and comes to Austin just to get some pizza. Place was on a Wednesday evening and for good reason great pizza and service. Of course, some single slices had to try and they were great. I couldn't go without trying the pepperoni Sicily and it was huge and really delicious. We have to go the most, but it was too big to fit in our hotel refrigerator. So we took out two pieces, but there was no way to waste the rest, so I took it to the hotel kitchen staff. They must have been carved at home earlier because they would no longer be upset if I had given them a pot of gold.

Delicious pizza that matches its New York style heritage! I think the home slice is the best pizza in Austin. I love their margarita pizza, but all their classics are great (we had pepperoni and mushroom, as well as sausage, red pepper and ricotta cheese). Eating in is a great experience at this point as it is less crowded and the waiting staff is excellent. The pizza is expensive, but it is worth it and nowhere else in the area you can get something quite similar. It is New York style, so it can not be for everyone, but it is also a great pizza in general. I would recommend trying at least once in Austin, but it is a classic option for any occasion or take home!

1st time visit for us. We were visiting from out of town and Home Slice was highly recommended from local family. Sure glad we tried it out! We started out with the house salad. Delicious! The Sicilian pizza was perfect! We'll definitely come back next time we're in Austin.

The atmosphere is a bit darker than a usual pizza cafe. Takes on a, past gone by look of the old pizza parlors. Great food. Order by the slice- pizza or whole pie. The chicken wings I would say are better than Hooters. Seating at the bar (full bar) or bring a group and enjoy the meal and the company.

I love the crust and sauce. Get the margherita pizza it?s great, I did love the pepperoni and mushroom the sauce is bold. And if you are getting a salad I recommend the Greek which is big enough to share for 2-3 people.

It was definitely a great experience. We are from NYC and know good pizza, this is it. Staff was very courteous and professional. Place very well kept including the bathrooms. Dinner was fantastic. I did not give 5 stars simply because of the chicken wings. It could be probably because they were so busy and kitchen crew missed it. They were extremely over cooked and the smallest chicken wings I have seen in 20 years, no lie. Now the flavor on the sauce was spot on however when it?s fried to such a crispy crunch it?s not edible. I?d definitely go again, will try the wings one more time and if it?s different then I?ll change my review.
