benji’s restaurant and deli has always been part of my life. some of my earliest memories to meet the people for a great meal at a reasonable price in a casual environment with an energetic and friendly staff were at benji’s. benji also holds in his walls some of my most beautiful memories. in this modern world that is overcrowded with too many drive-throughs, benji still plays an important role in my life, where it remains to be a place where I meet friends for a great meal, stop them in order to enjoy home some choice corn meat and other tasty bites in my free time, or meet someone for a professional. benji' is in milwaukee’a northshore, which is katz deli in new york city. Although benji’s is no longer in the possession of benji, they can often find him at the theke and open the door to a lot of talks, of which I am grateful that I was with me. (to many who have visited the restaurant over the years, benji is a surviving one of the Hitler concentration camps, escaping when he was a teenager, ran at night and rests during the day. he still has the tattoo that can be a reminder of us all bad and hats that exist in this world. Although not Jewish himself, the family that took over the restaurant of benji, still offer the joys of the Jewish community known as well as some dings that are appreciated by those who are not Jewish, as gaybacon, along with the former bark-bacon was told to me from the original menu. (tom told me this story while we were fed at benji’s one afternoon and if they know Father tom and benji, the story that they will find is actually more charming, but either it still remains one of my favorite stories if I had to worry about my dear deceased friend p. tom kerstein, I would not be sorry that I had an interfaith with me benji looked at me and with his fingers strapped together, moving in an upward movement, benji replied to me without missing a beat, no care vater when they have hunger, they will eat '

I've been coming to Benge's, since I attended Shorewood High School in the mid 80's, lol!! I've always enjoyed the food. I think it's pricey. Now it's even more Expensive!!!!???????????????????????? The food is still good. I order takeout and all I had wastwo Rubens two matzo ball soups and two pecan bars total equals $64!! All the did try some Celery soda. It tasted like whitesoda the hint of the flavour. IThe service is always is always excellent. However we do come at non-peak times. I definitelyend up uncomfortably stuffed, when I leave. They also have awesome and design coffee! Free refills too! No questions asked. Theydo charge you extra if you order extra dressing for your Reuben sandwich or extra Tiger Sauce for your Reuben rolls.
Had a pastrami sandwich. The meat wasn't cut proper which made it fatty and touch. Cut it across the grain next time!! Matzo ball soup was really good but not warm enough. Srever wasn't very personable. Husband had some type of sandwich which he alsodisliked.
This place is amazing and a great value. It is difficult to keep up with the increased costs of goods and wage increases for every business but especially small food establishments like this great local eatery.
If you like dog food go to Benjis it is certainly named appropriately. Ordered corned beef hash it was extremely dry the presentation was similar to dog food even the potatoes and eggs and toast were dry! Horrible! Requested strawberry jam two timeseven went back in the store to ask was there strawberry jelly in the bag got home and there was mixed/grape jelly in the bag. For 20 bucks I would have made out better picking up a bag of kibbles and bits! Called to let them know and to give effectivefeedback to no avail a male ?J*v*er? stated he was the manager and wanted to take me to debate class and was dismissive andargumentative. Question to owners of restaurants if you are not going to take the time to learn how to speak the language ofyour employees how are you going to stay successfully open?
Wanted corned beef to have with cabbage at home. Searched for a place other than the usual and settled on Benji's. It was the correct choice. Phone conversation was professional and pleasant. The pickup was seamless and the price was reasonable. Willremember for the future.
