Bought one of there prepackaged bread boxes and paid $30 extra for delivery and it took them over 5 days for the box to arrive. By that time the bread was hard and stale... I was told it would take 2days for delivery... Very disappointed. If I'm paying $30 for delivery at least get it to it's destination on time...

All right. You do not have prepacked, hot foods (e.g. rice, beans, carnitas, menudo etc.) ready to take home.
I've been here for over 30 years. the bakery was one of the best. in these last two years, however, I can clearly say that the broth is terrible. has the recipe changed? who bakes this brot? is this under new management? the conchas are dense and gummy. they should be airy and more on the dryer side. the brot now has a certain smell. it does not smell like broth that smells aromatic, almost like lavender. what happened? who drove the bakery now and what did you do? for those who claim it is still good are probably noobs.
Butter croissants are good but very greasy. Boxes are extra, which would be fine but they don?t ask you so you have to tell them. I found out o Lu after she bagged my items in small thin paper bags. The bag was greasy by the time I got to my car. You?d think they?d use thicker bags for spending $40 on pastries
One of the best Mexican bakeries in East Los Angeles. Traditional pan dulce (sweet breads) and crusty and soft rolls. Order at display counter. Just be careful?easy to overdo with all the delectable items. Also hot meats and tamales. Your could order all the fixings here for a complete meal.
